Poi
Poi are a great addition to any act. My favorite thing about them is that you can’t drop them! I mean you could but you really don’t have to worry about that if they are attached to your hands.
I actually got started doing them by club swinging. I just took some regular clubs and started swinging them based on a book I had.
Unfortunately clubs don’t look nearly as cool as balls of fire on a string, so I switched. If you want to get some of these, check them out here.

Once you learn how to manipulate these you can put on a great fire show. Fire looks amazing when it is swinging around so fast. I actually think it looks better than juggling torches.
The basic concept is that you have two weighted objects connected to a string or chain. The other end is connected to your hands. All you do is swing them in the same or opposite direction and there are a lot of tricks you can do.
